More Utah Adventures

We hiked up and in an old volcano. We were in the bowl
and up around the edge where there are 360 views.
The kids did a great job with such a big hike.

Vacation in Utah

We're having a great time visiting my parents. In these pictures we were way above a canyon behind my parents' house looking across at a waterfall after a rare desert rain. (It wasn't as dark as it looks~)

One morning I told Jana to go and gather her thoughts. So she came up with this thought club complete with thought chairs, thought table, and thought snacks.

Hiking around on the red rocks~ These rocks are really cool and smooth for the kids to hike on. We'll have to go back and explore some more while we're here.

Okay here's what happened since October!

Halloween! Adam was Gordon (not to be confused with Thomas- Gordon is bigger, stronger, and faster. Way to pick the winner Adam!) Jana was a pirate chick.
Thanksgiving with the Seals my mom and Great Grandma GG. The kids were all dolled up and Jana's dress spread glitter all over the house that is still being found 3 months later!

Christmas...happy kids...what else is there to say?



Adam spent his 3rd birthday at Chuck E Cheese. How about that follow through on the hoops shot? He got a big boy room reveal and a party with all of his friends that Saturday.

Jana and Mike went up with some friends for a weekend ski trip. They had a great time again. Jana is fearsome on skis. -in a good way:)

At the Berry Patch

We went to Berry Patch Farms with our friends Amy, Davis and Savannah in early October. We went on a tractor ride and picked flowers but we spent most of our time picking rasberries. There are hundreds of bushes.

The perfectly ripe sun-warmed rasberries were hard to resist so we snacked as we filled our baskets. It was a beautilful warm day.

I'm so thankful that Amy took these fantastic pictures and I'm so glad we made the trip.

Campin' at Yogi Bear

Every year Gamma and Papa take Jana "camping" at Yogi Bear park for an early Halloween celebration. This year we brought Adam up for the last night too. We all stayed in their big trailer and it was so much fun.






The kids went on a wagon ride with Yogi and Boo Boo, decorated pumpkins, played bingo, mini golfed, went trick-or-treating, and boogied at the dance party. The outdoor dance party was complete with a DJ and Disco ball.
