Last August 2007 I started reading Harry Potter to Jana. She grew to love it like I do and I finished reading the 7th book to her in March 2008. I'm so proud of her ability to focus on the story and characters through months of reading. It really blows me away that she understood every subtle plot turn and anticipated many of the story elements. I asked her the other day to take some pictures of her favorite things and she snapped this photo of her Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book. 
She has also started reading herself. She was so ecstatic to be reading her first chapter book in April that we just had to get a picture!
